Graymade delivered remediation and maintenance works to biofilter facility 1-4, addressing a range of structural, civil and operational defects identified during condition assessments. The scope included concrete repairs, crack remediation, replacement of deteriorated sealants, rectification of leaking pipework, repair of spalled concrete, and refurbishment of supporting infrastructure to maintain the integrity and performance of the odour control asset.
The works involved repairs to concrete block walls, access structures, pipe penetrations, service connections and biofilter infrastructure, as well as remediation of corrosion-related defects affecting pipework, steel components and supporting fixtures. Particular attention was given to waterproofing, sealing and concrete rehabilitation to extend asset life and improve operational reliability within a challenging wastewater treatment environment.
Delivered within an active treatment facility, the project required careful planning and coordination to safely complete repair works while maintaining uninterrupted operation of the biofilter system. The completed works have enhanced asset durability, reduced maintenance risks and supported ongoing commitment to environmental compliance and odour management performance.
