Graymade delivered critical civil construction works as part of the PEPS Pump Station Renewal at the Liverpool Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The project involved extensive modifications within the existing pump station, including concrete demolition and reconstruction, pump plinth construction, chamber modifications, benching upgrades, pipe support structures, and associated civil infrastructure to accommodate the installation of new pumping and pipework systems.
Working within a live operational wastewater facility, the project required careful staging and coordination to minimise disruption while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The works included enlargement of internal chamber openings, construction of new concrete benching and support plinths, structural concrete modifications, and preparation of infrastructure to support upgraded mechanical equipment and pipework.
The completed renewal improves the reliability, maintainability, and long term performance of the pump station, supporting ongoing commitment to delivering resilient recycled water infrastructure across Western Sydney.
