Graymade delivered access and safety upgrades at Potts Hill Reservoir site, improving safe access to critical stormwater and reservoir infrastructure. The project involved the replacement and upgrade of existing access ladders, installation of new ladder safety cages, modifications to handrails, and the provision of secure access systems to current safety standards.

The works included removal and replacement of existing ladder infrastructure, installation of new galvanised steel access ladders and protective cages, extension of handrails, installation of self-closing safety gates, concrete landing rectification, and associated anchoring and civil works. In addition, new 316 stainless steel sump covers and grating systems were supplied and installed in lieu of the galvanised steel covers specified in the original design, providing superior corrosion resistance and long-term durability within the harsh operating environment.

Delivered within an operational facility, the project required careful planning and execution to maintain safe access while upgrading ageing infrastructure. The completed works improve personnel safety, asset accessibility and maintenance efficiency while providing a durable, low-maintenance solution for long-term operation of the site.
